one of my favorites, serving metric coffee, arguably best roaster in chicago
Nice coffee shop, great juices, and great service, good design. I would have given a 5 stars but the music they chose was awful, couldn’t find my headphones, and needed to endure whatever noise they put on it. I enjoy all kinds of music, but what they chose today was not helping at all if you want to study/work...
Plenty of natural light, an eclectic staff and good brew make this cafe a good spot to get work done during the day. This is a rather popular spot (even more so during the summer) so seating may not always be available. On warm sunny days, this cafe may have some of the best outdoor seating in the city.
Pretty good coffee in very nice setting. Staff was very nice
Succulents, modern-lighting fixtures and wood-paneled walls accompany this coffee shop that features Metric Coffee and Time Machine cold press juices.
Had a scone and tea - scone was very floury tasting, but had fresh blueberries, so maybe it was just one odd scone in the bunch. Also, it would be nice to steep your own tea so it could be as strong as you want... my tea wasn't strong at all even after waiting 5 minutes for it. Good atmosphere though.
Good coffee, great spot for working on a laptop.
Excellent coffee shop with a chill atmosphere.
Lovely environment. The staff is very friendly, helpful, and well trained. Try the rosemary latte with oat milk you won’t be disappointed.
Good coffee, service, and quiche (as long as it's not sold out!) - just wish they'd bring back the city-sound ambient soundtracks in the bathrooms - That'd make my four star review a six star one!
Friendly eco-hipster vibe, strong coffee, delicious veggie quiche.
Streets has become a regular pit stop for me! They have a dairy-free oat milk for the lattes that is absolutely delicious, and all their syrups are homemade from scratch. Time Machine is also sold here which is the best cold pressed juice I've found in the city. You really gotta try this place, sooner rather than later!
This was hands down the best espresso shot I’ve ever had. I’m from Minneapolis; we have insanely good coffee. I joined the gym across the street just so I could caff up before my workouts with the incredible espresso here. They do single origin shots which is rare and the only place I’ve seen do this was in Amsterdam. I got the Peru single origin twice in one day and the shots were consistent. Thanks Taylor! -Mike from Minneapolis
I miss the perfect croissants 🥐 ;-( - pastry menue has changed, I guess a new ownership too - no more changes please and bring back the croissants
Good coffee but service wasn't that great.
This place is the epitome for hipsterdom and it's a little too much. I really like the interior decor, but the seating is not very comfortable. I feel like if I were to come with a friend that I really would have to watch my volume as most of the customers are clearly working. Drinks are pretty good, but somewhat expensive. It's a good go-to option, but there are more chill places nearby if you want to hang out with friends over coffee.
I popped into this shop Saturday morning around 9:30, and it wasn’t too crowded. The atmosphere here is so cool! They sell a selection of coffees roasted by metric, and have pastry options as well. I ordered an iced matcha and it was very good.
Great coffee quiet atmosphere.very popular
good coffee with a small but quality selection of pastries. a nice place to work if you can find a seat
Nice little cafe with outdoor seating. Excellent coffee.
One of my favorite coffee shops in Chicago. The coffee is excellent and so is the service. It's a great place to come alone and work, study, or read, or to come with friends for coffee and a chat. There's a nice patio area in the front that is open in the summer. When you order coffee you also get sparkling water to cleanse your palate as you would in many cafes in Europe.
Amazing breakfast sandwiches and matcha lattes
Friendly baristas, delicious (and reasonably priced) coffee and pastries, good music, cool seating areas, and just great overall ambience.
Excellent music and great coffee. It's not a typical cafe in that there aren't a bunch of outlets for people to plug their computers into. Really cool ambiance as well, with interesting interior. The customer service is also exceptional. An example of how Chicago is going back to indie cafes with personality.
Favorite coffee vendor in Chicago. Solid pastries. Love the Nitro!
I loved this coffee shop. Great concept and good coffee.
Not particularly impressed with this location. There are a plethora of options within a few square miles, including a Starbucks and smaller coffee shops. The menu isn't prominently displayed and the service doesn't seem too concerned to provide any additional details on the offerings. I opted for a cold brew and found that the coffee was a bit harsh for a coffee that is meant to be smoother.
I'm a very avid coffee drinker, especially cappuccinos. I can honestly say that in all of the places I've been in LA, NYC, and Chicago, the cappuccino at Caffe Streets is my absolute favorite. This small, cozy coffee shop located in Wicker Park is a perfect place. It has a simple menu, it's a quiet place for you to get work done in, and they give you sparkling water with every coffee. Huge fan of this place and it's very quickly becoming my regular spot.
Caffe streets is one my favorite coffee shops in the city. I love Metric Coffee, the owners' coffee roastery and Time Machine juice- cold press juice also by the owner. The pastries served are delicious and the coffee is one of my favorites. The house made syrups are also delicious- the mocha and banana. The space is gorgeous and intimate and I love their patio in the summer, spring and even fall. It is generally not too busy when I happen to stop by. Service it quick and always on point.
good coffee with a small but quality selection of pastries. a nice place to work if you can find a seat
Very expensive trendy place. The coffee is good and it’s an environment looks like it’s built for working or studying. Lots of outlets and table space and a good layout. good music but it’s a bit too loud. Its almost perfect except for the fact that the WiFi goes out very frequently.
Traditional coffee shop, good place to work with lots of space.
by far, the best espresso drinks in the wicker park/bucktown area. no question. The right blend of great coffee, master barista skills and friendly owners/staff.
Nice neighborhood coffee house feel. Meet up with a friend, work from "home" w/ free wifi, or people watch on the patio. Coffee's not bad and the guys behind the counter are pretty friendly. They definitely know their regulars.
Spent a few hrs studying here on a Sat morning. Great coffee, service, and WiFi. Decent stools, no backs, but comfortable enough for a couple hours.
Great coffee on nice street
Great coffee and a cool vibe at this coffee shop. Plenty of outdoor seating as well.
It's a pretty nice fresh Vibe here! I asked for a pour-over. Stasia was my barista , Not only was she knowledgeable she was honest about the fact that she hadn't had a chance to taste what was brewed but told me what I could expect in the notes of the coffee.
Very smooth espresso, though $7 for a pumpkin latte seems excessive. The only thing keeping it from being a 5-star experience is the latte was warm. Must specify coffee temp.
Found this place on a list of coffee shops that were good for productivity and they were not wrong. Nice place to work during the day as everyone here is also working instead of talking on the phone or having loud conversations. 4 stars because the drinks are so expensive. Also, the matcha quality isn't that great. The cashier informed me that if they didn't sweeten it with honey that it would be undrinkable due to bitterness (this isn't the case with high grade matcha). Which, fine, but if you're going to charge me $6 for a latte, I would at least like high quality ingredients. I know this sounds snobby, but as someone who doesn't drink coffee I seek out places with good alternatives for caffeine. They did have a decent selection of teas and non-coffee beverages, though!
Great coffee with a relaxing vibe. Great place to go to work or study. Not too noisy or intense so respect the vibe and leave your personal calls at the door.
Cozy, warm, and they serve great coffee!
The baristas are friendly and always seem to play the right music. This place is a true gem.
I came in for a brewed tea and to get some work done. Unfortunately, the tea was way too expensive (over $4.50 before tip) and was only mediocre. The seating is uncomfortable and the wi-fi didn't even work. There staff said there was nothing they could do to re-set the wi-fi and blamed the number of customers on computers (4 people). Overall, not impressed.
I love this place. The atmosphere and decor are first rate. I almost had a flashback in the bathroom ( the lights are coordinated with the high relief wallpaper) Staff is nice. There are usually stickers at the counter and the coffee is GOOD.
Good place but weird choice of music lol
Fantastic coffee, ambiance, comfort, internet, location.
Small menu but great and tasty selection. Their Thai iced coffee is amazing
Happy to have finally made our way to Caffe Streets. Great space with great coffee. Plan ahead time-wise if you want a cup of properly brewed coffee but right out the door, their drip coffee wasn't bad. Opted for Alliance this time around but will definitely return to try some of their baked goods.
It's great to see natural light bounce around the wooden interior. Quality coffee, a little pricey. Often crowded without a lot of space, which makes it a little uncomfortable.
